Prepared to Learn

We were excited to provide necessary school supplies for 64 children living in North Kivu, Democratic Republic of Congo! As you may remember we were able to provide an orphanage building to these pygmy children last year. The group has grown by about 20 children recently and everyone is doing well. As school starts back in the region on September 9th, we were happy to be able to equip these kids for learning.

Each child received:

- 2 school uniforms

- 12 small notebooks

- 1 school bag

- 1 school supplies box

- 1 pencil

- 1 school slate/chalkboard

- 2 pens
